Aug 16,  · Warrant's first new studio album in ten years is both a reunion and a revamping. "Born Again" () marks the return of original lead guitarist Joey Allen and drummer Steven Sweet, along with holdovers Erik Turner (guitar) and Jerry Dixon (bass). Gone, however, is lead singer/songwriter Jani Lane/5(31).

Just as the Born Again title has been employed on dozens of albums by other artists -- including fellow metalheads Black Sabbath-- don't expect Warrant to stretch the boundaries anywhere else on this disc. You can expect them to deliver a superb set of hard rock songs that sound and feel better than most music from the '80s, however. "Dirty Jack" is a perfect candidate for a sequel to anything.

Well, here's 80's hair metal band Warrant back with their first studio album in 10 years. Born Again is the follow up to 's debacle, Belly to Belly. Since then, the band have released five live / best of compilations that I view as thinly veiled attempts to sell fans the same music that they already own.

I am a big Warrant fan but always felt Black & Blue was missing that something that seperates the good from the great. Once I got past St. James bland voice I really like this C.D. I dosn't have any classics like 'Down Boys', 'Heaven' or 'Cherry Pie', but as a whole I think Born Again .
